Topic 1824c and latency for VST instruments
I use 3 audio interfaces with my Lenovo Yoga laptop/ Core i7 10750H CPU, 16 gigs of RAM, Windows 11 latest build, Presonus studio one v5 and Ableton Live 10

I have a Behringer x32 Rack, a PreSonus 1824c, and a Steinberg UR 22 Mark 2.

The interface has its own midi port directly on the laptop MOBO when in use, I only use one interface at the time.

I use the Steinberg and the Behringer on a regular basis with a buffer of 256, for live instruments played from a keyboard, using Ableton live 10.

I can never get close to that buffer setting with the PreSonus, which I bought for this purpose to give me multiple outputs, and a smaller rig to carry than the X32.

I'm always in crackle and pop territory and I'm wondering if any of you have seen/solved this issue??

Thanks! :D:

With my Elleven Rack, I had latency issues, the Digitech 2112 SGS solved that problem.
Plus the 2112 sounded more like a real amp ....the Eleven Rack didn't.
Do your home work, don't trust sales people, especially at Guitar Center.
