Hi.
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tiago. I'm from Portugal. I don't write English very well. I'll do my best.

I would like to have some information about audio interface. How do they work? What is their relation with sound cards? And with mixers?

Hi,
an audio interface is actually the same thing as a soundcard. They are used to to get an audio signal from an external source to the hard drive of your computer.

Many soundcards have line inputs adn microphones require microphone inputs. This why people use mixers before sending the signal to the soundcard.
