unTIL BEN « Excellent but not practical »

This is the first model that I use for ipad.
The +:
- The input sound: excellent with good headroom, without breath, as well as input for the guitar mic.
- No latency to listen to the non treated (with an ipad 3)
- Sound output: for headphones or other, much better than the headphone ipad, also with good headroom (what connect headphones high impedance).
The -:
- The connection is not practical, the machine leaves alone the ipad, there is no "click". If one has a cable jack robust (monster style), the weight of the cable is able to release the connection. Suddenly, an extension seems necessary (especially that Apple is changing its connectors)
- Sonoma software is not very fast, amp simulations provided are not bad, but not to metal, the more they can not be used in other software (maybe the application can do audiobus something soon).
The value for money is a bit high for my taste.
Finally, not serving me very little, I sold it.
