The Aura Bass Squarifier is a bass fuzz pedal (not December '), the analog operation.
It has two jacks (input and output) on the right side. Food (above) is made by the sector, 9v DC (attention, transformer not included). On top, three knobs: both the left are used to modulate the amount of fuzz and brightness, and the third, right, in yellow, is used to adjust the output volume. Bottom left, there is a footswitch to switch to no-fuzz fuzz, and a nice orange light tells us whether the effect is on or not.
The assembly is mounted in a metal box, probably indestructible.
UTILIZATION
It simplississime ... One branch is pressed, a small balance adjustment clean / fuzz, and rolls.
SOUND QUALITY
This is the most interesting point of the beast: you can get great fuzz sound in the treble and bass to keep intact (you can mix the light with the fuzz with two knobs on the right), giving excellent readability of the game and saves in aggression against a clear sound while remaining present in the grave. I do not feel, as with much distortion / fuzz bass, suddenly disappearing from the low end when I go into fuzz. A small 'hum' is heard, but nothing serious, the manufacturer is working ... The bypass (one-bypass TRUE, important detail) is royal no noise.
OVERALL OPINION
Unlike other distos that grind all frequencies without distinction, it allows you to send the wood, keeping a good presence. Greatly appreciated to add another layer when it is believed to be already catch!
It is a bit expensive, as produced in small quantities, but findable on ebay at a price more reasonable, but still cheaper than a wooly mammoth, for the most interesting in my opinion.
Indestructible, funky colors, handmade, its really an individual that does not sound too transistor (and for good reason ...): it's worth it.
