Along two new guitar amp heads, Orange introduces at NAMM 2014 a new 1000W bass amp head.
The new 1000 Watt solid-state bass amplifier OB1-K is Orange’s first ever rack-mountable amp.
Inspired by bi-amping techniques, the OB1-K splits the signal into two separate paths. One side produces a tight, clean bass, while the other features two stages of controllable gain, rich in upper harmonics according to Orange. Both sides can be combined with the footswitchable blend control to broaden the tone options.
The amp also features an active three-band EQ and a DI with ground lift.
The price hasn’t been disclosed yet.
