Best value:
Excellent
All amp tubes!! Few manufacturers make.
225W: it seems little, but enough to make small scenes.
2,4 or 8 ohms adjustable: it is convenient because it is not limited in the choice of cabinet.
Integrated DI (but I use my BSS AR 133)
A "bright" friendly
A lighter saturated (footswitch included but plays saturated??) Channel.
Low, mid and high (this is classic, but there can be varying the midrange frequency: 200, 400, 600 or 800 Hz)
1 input + 1 output effects
1 knob Resonance and Presence 1
The only problem with this head is that I have a worker back (25 Kg)
UTILIZATION
It's plug and play. Once found his son on the guard.
As every head lamps we must first connect the head to the cabinet.
Only then on, and after 1 or 2 minutes by mounting the stand.
SOUNDS
It's perfect, it suits everyone.
I have a Warwick Corvette $ $ NT Bubinga. Obviously with this head lamp is any so it should not be too let your fingers hang ... So it is not recommended for beginners (at the same time considering the price ....).
Having had 4 or 5 Ampeg combos (transistors or hybrid), I was looking for a head lamp Ampeg because I'm always a fan of the Ampeg. But there for 2 times cheaper than Ampeg Made in China, I found this unusual head Made in USA.
I tried it with a Peavey speaker, I was disappointed, it sounded too rock (that ugly spat, as my first Peavey amp combo transistor 150 w).
I tried it with an Ampeg 410 HLF cabinet and there is perfect.
OVERALL OPINION
I for 1 month.
As usual Peavey is good value for money, serious production.
I was looking for a made in USA not too expensive.
This is truly a world other than the transistor.
