Ashdown MAG C115-300
transistor amp 307W @ 4 ohm
Assé easy to use (although it will not look like that):
- EQ (bypass by a button) 3 bands (not 5) (+ bass and treble frequencies)
- Deep and bright buttons (really work)
- Sub harmonic (octave one octave below) (adjustable bypass) Dimension provides a sound, well-ca tremble when it is fully
- And finally compressor (not the "old" models) (works also) (Adjustable bypass and again)

for inputs and outputs:
- 2 inputs (high and low)
- 2 outputs to speakers (one taken by the hp of the amp but can change without problem)
- An effects loop (I do not use)
- 1 output "line tuner"

UTILIZATION

The config is relatively simple with a minimum of knowledge in these little corny.
The sound is easy to find and eq knobs to have real impact, and all other settings for that matter.
The manual is in English, it explains the usefulness of the various knobs and under what circumstances they can be useful. comprehensive, not too long, well presented, perfect. (I could do without me, I just had nothing to do when I read it.

SOUNDS

I am playing mostly rock - hard rock, metal and punk. there is an amp that fully recognize: we come to have a small palette with all its settings.
My bass is a Cort action and I also use from time to time a behringer preamp (bass V-amp pro) for distos.
The sounds that I can have are Assé Varres by spending big sound in a natural sound, is also a way to find vintage. there really any way to find.

Small point: on my old amp (which makes his exact), my amp sounded "fake" too digital. I use the Ashdown now, and it gives her a really autentic now.

OVERALL OPINION

I received it three days ago in a large cardboard box covered in union jacks, and I have not stopped playing it since. it sounds very low, with a small grain in addition to the octave.
Question value, I think it's very good: it is very comprehensive with a good sound, and in the same price range are found amp 150W max. I intend to keep it long and I would do better now knowing that choice without hesitation
