Bass amp, compact, easy to carry
Power 15W
Compressor
3 tone control with detent point 0
Line 1 input, 1 Headphone output
UTILIZATION
No gadget, apart from the compressor
Use more than simple, effective tone control.
Opportunity to play at low volume with good sound
I have not read the manual
SOUNDS
I'm not a bassist, so I play simple sentences in rock, r & b, blues, variety.
I'm looking for sounds with a round but precise attack.
I do not play in Slap
I do not use effects
The sound lacks a little presence in the low register, but given the size of HP, I think it's already very good. That is enough for it to work an amp at home.
OVERALL OPINION
I essaiyé peavey equivalent model but with a larger HP (slightly more powerful it seems to me), and therefore more expensive.
The peavey is better in the bass. on the other hand, push out the tone for a cool sound (which is not the case Laney). In addition, HP's peavey buzzes when you push the volume, so the extra power is useless.
In conclusion, I found the easiest to deal with Laney, more versatile. Sounds better defined in the medium / high, and with ample power.
