9 filter types with several options to combine them (Sine, Square, Triangle, high and low pass, etc.)
plus two synth effects simulating a voice (a kind of "vocoding filter"... I guess I created a new term but I didn't know how to describe it otherwise).
Digital unit with a big analog sound.

UTILIZATION

It's a pedal board that allows you to program your own sounds and save them into 3 banks of 3 presets each.
Very easy to use, simply play with the knobs, find the sound and volume you like and push "Store" to save it.
I didn't read the user's manual: It wasn't necessary since it's very easy to program your own sound banks.

SOUND QUALITY

The filter effects are very effective and produce a huge funk, house and electro sound.
You have to use it with a bass guitar (I already tried it with my guitar but it's obviously not conceived for guitars...).
Setting the 10 effects is very easy and intuitive.
I find each effect has it own sound character, none is better than the others...

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using it for 10 years and I can't get enough. It's perfect for funk and electronic music but it shouldn't be disregarded by metal fans, considering the aggressiveness of some effects.
The auto-wah filter is not the best I know. I find the envelope filter of some dedicated pedals sound better.
It's a rare and expensive unit (Korg stopped manufacturing it in 1997) but no other synth pedal can beat its sound quality... (unless you buy an Akai Deep Impact and an Electro Harmonix Bass Micro and an auto-wah pedal and a Digitech Bass Synth Wah... perhaps if you were to combine all of them you'd get a similar sound but you still wouldn't be able to store your settings).
I would never part with it and I would definitely buy it again...
