Thread Help with Behringer pmp6000 sub option

I have the Behringer pmp6000 powered mixer, which has a sub-out with low-cut filter to be used with a powered sub. However, shamefully, I have no idea on what to use...ie how big, wattage, etc...

I'd be using the sub in small and mid-sized venues for one, two, and three-man acoustic performances as well as full band gigs.

Any suggestions on what to use? I've tried contacting Behringer directly, and it's absolutely no use.
