UTILIZATION

The machine itself is not very complicated to use. The settings are more traditional, as well as EQ for the compressor. Small grip needed to tame ... as with any machine.

SOUND QUALITY

I did used this machine only live but repeatedly. I find the color in the upper midrange very unpleasant to some sources (including voice). I mean a certain hardness see aggression in some cases despite a slightly soft side of the preamp. I once more turned off and I preferred the punch of a Midas or Soundcraft serie5.

Cons by a beautiful bottom. Heat to a beautiful 80-100Hz.

The EQ is not dangerous but can bring color to the source Treaty. For cleaning certain area of spectrum that does not work. Lack of radicalism for some use I think.

Compressor unusable live in the studio I do not know.

To conclude, I greatly appreciated on source type bass, Fender Rhodes, ie on sources naturally velvety. The preamp is poorly suited to sources deserve a punch (voice).

OVERALL OPINION

The price is attractive for a channel strip but seems overpriced for a machine with audio performance rather average and slightly flexible.
