SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

important focus cpu consumption requires a beefy PC.

OVERALL OPINION

Hello,

I just bought this pack for a mix I had in progress. As I am far from an expert in the compressor and EQ, I let the PRO speak but I can share my impression.

I used before mainly supplied with Sonar X2 EQ and compressors Native Komplete provided.

I immediately felt a huge difference in sound quality.

For the compressor according to the settings you get to boost the sound levels up without the sound becoming aggressive. I really feel a sense of clarity and transparency. I went mainly presets and change some stuff sparingly.

For passive EQ is the same feeling I had.

For all modules the effect obtained is not necessarily very audible as subtle (for amateur ears) but the output mix here means a glaring difference.

On one of the pieces I had taken guitar folk who had too much midrange. I could go back and correct the acute medium to obtain a correct result. I also take piano whose tone was not very pleasant I could improve it without altering the instrument.

The negatives for me is essentially the CPU consumption. This is the first time that I can crack the sound on my breath because PCpour CPU. So we must handle it.

One may regret the absence of a graphic EQ would allow for better visualization of the settings that you made. For fans would be more didactic but hey it requires to work the ear.

Anyway a pretty good product from my point of view.
