Radial Engineering launches a DI for laptops
Radial Engineering adds to their StageBug compact DI series the SB-5 Sidewinder for laptops, tablets and audio players.
The StageBug SB-5 Sidewinder Laptop connects to a laptop, tablet or any audio player equipped with a mini-jack output, to a PA system. The DI is equipped with an integral 1.5m (5ft) cable with 3.5mm / 1/8" mini-jack connector, two TRS 1/4" outputs for balanced and unbalanced stereo signals and an XLR output that sums both right and left signals to mono.
A -15dB pad is included, as well as a Ground Lift switch. Inside the box, you will find two transformers that will balance the signal while isolating the input from the output in order to avoid ground loops.
The bottom of the StageBug SB-5 features a non-slip pad that provides mechanical isolation and electrical insulation when placed onto other electrically charged devices.
The StageBug SB-5 Sidewinder Laptop will retail for €119. You'll find more details soon on www.radialeng.com.
