Apple Mac Soft, a video and audio tool developer for Mac OS X, offers a software that allows for editing your audio files.
MP3 Splitter gives you the ability to split and extract parts of your MP3, M4A and AAC audio files. You can use it to create tracks from long live recordings for instance, or cut undesired parts, silences, noises, etc. You can work directly on the waveform or base the process on you ears, for an audio player is included. You can also apply fades (in and out) of up to 10 seconds.
The MP3 Splitter software can automatically detect and remove silences, it can split the files based on silences, file size, duration and even on a Cue file.
MP3 Splitter is compatible with OS X 10.10 Yosemite. It is available for the special price of $9.99 instead of $14.95 and you can download a trial version from www.applemacsoft.com.
