UTILIZATION
The ergonomics are well thought out, and the basic functions are naturally available. However, a small grip is required to access all the functions so there are many possibilities. Manual, always designed by Yamaha, allows easy access.
SOUNDS
Quality preamps and converters are still very respectable for a console was conceived in 2004, as well as the effects and compressors, which can be upgraded (via an official CD) to the VCM release.
OVERALL OPINION
Use for 2 years confirms the choice of this console for live, thanks to its power routing, embedded and of course the small size effects. In other benefits, we see the return control circuits away (thank you iDevices!) Modular expansion cards, and especially this solid stability, a concept that tends to get lost in the moment.
Layer Management is a bit frustrating at first, but it is because we have to find a fault.
Today the situation is changing in light of new offers in its category, this certainly aging console will remain a leader in its field, and is still not a risky investment.
