Published on 10/31/11 at 00:22Rackmount console.
I / O RCA, XLR + Jack and I / O RCA SP / DIF + I / O BNC wordclock + I / O ADAT 8 tracks + 1 slot for my card + 1-port USB Studio Menager!
Sampling up to 24-bit 96KHz.
40 input channels, 8 bus, 8 in (1 to 4 + 4 outputs return effects), stereo headset + monitor + + RCA Record.
Equa of 36 fully configurable entries, buses, and stereo output.
Automation and supported knob motor.
Internal sync, worlclock, SP / DIF, ADAT or slot.
UTILIZATION
The general configuration is simple if it has already been working on the Yamaha, if it takes a bit of termp to grasp all the subtleties.
Comprehensive manual.
The common functions are easily accessible and the use of Studio Menager is more consistent visually map an analog console.
SOUNDS
The A / D converters and D / A are transparent and do their job properly.
The effects and filters are quite effective and dynamics is fairly well respected.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it since 2007.
I have worked with many consoles and digital or analog I chose it for its price / size / performance (the DM1000 I was not available at the time).
2 with the provisions in addition will not be luxury and equation 31 bands on each output either ... But I dream!
The price / quality ratio is good especially in relation to new digital production
With experience, the 01V96 is a very good choice.
