Published on 03/09/12 at 06:3640 channels (32 mono + 4 stereo)
12 PREAM microphone + 4 line inputs
ADAT
Clock 44.1 / 48/88, 2/96kHz
8 Auxiliary switchable pre / post
UTILIZATION
The screen is a bit small but very readable.
The functions are generally well accessible for the digital
Some advanced features are still quite complex to get
The big +: the 8 configurable keys at leisure on a lot of function. Very handy, I use it regularly to manage mute groups or when groups fader.
I also have a button "panic" that allows me to transfer any live returns if Larcen is formidable, and a micro-cut cutting ca rising Larcen giving a little time to find the culprit : D
SOUNDS
Enough for my liking to use as I live.
The equalos are soft enough, you really go hard to see change.
Having a gate, compressor and delay for each of the 32 tracks is really the big plus of the console
OVERALL OPINION
I work with 01v 2 years
I love the Yamaha consoles, the presonus live in vain to be more oriented live, they have much less attracted to me in the way they operate.
The Yamaha with its almost infinite possibilities, the possibility of using it as a DAW and MIDI controller, the possibility of the Chainer to double the number of tracks, the possible addition of an additional card to register by ADAT or the PC ....
