«  Very good digital piano »

88-key keyboard. Several piano sounds, e-piano and others such as violin, acoustic guitar ...
Reverb and chorus effects.
The sounds are not editable. We can add more or less of chorus and reverb for each sound.
Level of connectivity, there are two connectors midi in and out, two output jacks, two headphone jacks (nice).
For details, see the description on the website of korg, or previous notices ...

UTILIZATION

I started in practice the piano, but I already had the opportunity to test the true style Steinway grand pianos and Yamaha. The keyboard touch the SP 250 is very good. It really resembles a piano keyboard sound. We can even set three types of touch, the softest to hardest.
The manual is simple and clear. It should bone up a bit to understand the logic of operation, but nothing difficult.
The general setup is simple.
Not yet tested in midi, but I'm not worried on that side. If we know use this protocol, no reason why it does not work.

SOUNDS

The sounds are generally good. Again, I started and I have perhaps not enough experience and requirements in relation to experienced musicians. But the piano sounds are very good, the other sounds are nice too. I think they're all realistic and usable following the desires and needs.
The expression is excellent, the velocity is impeccable. if you play piano, piano ca lot, if we play fortissimo, as follows ca. No complaints.
On the effects, I confess I have trouble feeling the difference between a chorus and 3. Ditto for the reverb. But I have only a few days.
Overall I love all the sounds, to my level and my experience, I find them very good. The church organ sounds to me talk less, but there are good so far.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days. I had played several months on a Yamaha P85 last year, which I found very good too, but it was the first time, so I did not recoil.
Initially, I was away on a P95, which is the successor to the P85, but I got a secondhand one for SP 250. I bought it without trying it, trusting only in the different opinions here, and on the net. And I do not regret my purchase at all.
I find the feel good, really close to an acoustic. The sounds are good for me and that I use.
I would say that anyone looking for a digital piano quality below 700 euros, it is top.
In addition, it comes with its support and pedal. on the other hand, it is within 20 kg, which makes him a transportable, but not necessarily a laptop. The P95 of yam in fact in the 12 kg. This is significant if you're planning to move often.
For me, if you want a piano that makes sense, the Korg SP 250 or Yamaha P95 are two great models, with a slight preference for the Korg ...
