Roland updates their Juno synthesizers

Roland adds two new digital synths to their Juno Series, namely the Juno-DS88 and Juno-DS61.

The new Roland Juno-DS digital synths retain and improve the features of the previous Juno instruments. Available in 88 and 61-key versions, with Ivory Feel G keyboards with escapement, you’ll find on these new Juno-DS the sounds of the Juno-Di, along with new acoustic and electric pianos, additional organs and other instruments for live performance. A slot gives you the ability to add new waveforms available for download from the Roland Axial website, and to import custom WAV samples.

The Juno-DS88 and Juno-DS61 are equipped with 8 pads that trigger phrases and songs stored on the USB memory as well as knobs and sliders for sound tweaking.

You can connect a microphone and apply reverb, vocoder and auto-pitch effects, and an 8-track sequencer allows for recording patterns.

Last, the Juno-DS can be used as MIDI controllers for your DAW and have the ability to transfer audio and MIDI via the built-in USB interface.

Both synths can be battery-powered, with access to the batteries from the top on the Juno-DS88 and the bottom on the Juno-DS61.
