What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The concept of Vynil control to play mp3's thanks to vinyls
What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk ,...)?
MacBook 2009 and I also use it on an Athlon 64 3500 + with 1GB of RAM.
For what purpose?
I mix in bars, clubs, ...
With which instruments or systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) and you use the connection with what?
I used two technics sl-1200 mk2 and a mixer Pioneer DJM-600.
GETTING STARTED
The installation is done it without problems?
No problem, just the time to understand the system of registration of the product ... It is not difficult not to worry. And for those who say it's complicated when changing email address or you forget your ID, I'm really not okay, just read a few clicks and some found a new word password and a new identifier.
The general configuration is easy?
Yes, there is a wizard that allows you to choose how we will use the program (with or without Vynil control, with or without a midi controller ,...). There are lots of adjustment recorded for a number of midi controller, etc.. The only negative point is that the visual interface is fully customizable (some option does not help me and I wanted to remove them in order to reduce the interface).
Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
None, as on MacOS Windows everything works fine
The manual is clear and sufficient?
There is a Getting Started manual very succinct but there is a help file in PDF fullest. I have not opened neither one nor the other because I think it's fairly intuitive to use basic functions. However, I should read to discover additional features that can be handy.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
This software + hardware is stable?
Very stable. It has never crashed, the only problems I encountered was related to problems with my cell plates.
The software works he correctly on this configuration?
The software does not require huge resources. Latency is reasonable, it does not feel the vinyls.
OVERALL OPINION
For how long have you been using it?
For 5 months.
Did you try many other models before getting this one?
I tried once Serato but I did not really like the interface. I have not much hesitation between Serato and Traktor Traktor because Duo cost me € 320 and serato costing between 540 and 770 €.
What thing do you like most/least about it?
More:
- BPM Counter powerful enough (which is rare), so the loop are easily automated.
- Stability
- Price (320 €)
- A small bar tells us if the song is offbeat, it's very convenient because it allows you to wedge the piece precisely.
Less
- When loading a piece of the BPM analysis time can sometimes take a while (this is no big problem to my own pc on my mac because I do not have that problem).
What is your opinion about the value for the price?

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Yes without hesitation. In addition, I'll buy Maschine Native Instruments, which can control all the features of Traktor and do many other things
