What technology is used? Multi Touch Pad with Digital Effects & Samplers.
What is the connection? RCA input / output, MIDI I / O, Mic Jack, Headphone Output.
UTILIZATION
Configuration gnrale Is it easy? Archie simple, even for beginners.
The manual is clear and sufficient? The manual is only a few pages but you will not need it.
The edition of sound effects or is it easy? Simple, clear & precise.
SOUND QUALITY
The effects are they effective, suitable and adequate ralistes? Even though most of them are from traditional and have nothing rvolutionnaire, there is good & sacrment effective, and then handle all these effects on a touch pad carrment change the deal, if you were used to handle other buttons or rotary potentiometers on your mixer, slide the finger on a pav to assay the effect is much more accurate & most importantly, more rjouissant. The looper is a treat !!!!!
Which instruments do you use? Traktor Pro DDM 2 + 4000 + Denon HC-4500 for phases mix, Ableton Live Suite Vst + NI Live with the Motu 828 MK3 as a sound card.
OVERALL OPINION
How long have you use it? 6 months and I'm not ready for me spare, and I run Traktor Pro, The kaosspad these effects is lit up very well in the mixes is a rgal to put those fingers on it , handle all these effects make you very soon hooked after only a few weeks of use, I did not hesitate to take him with me one night to teak, coupled with 2 daisy-electribe noon she carrment has set up the power, stay on some tracks more than several minutes prvu multiplying effects later j'approvisais very simple and fawn unpublished foot I guarantee !!
I also couple the Kaoss Pad with Ableton Live (Only for sets) or even Maschine NI effects in ableton take a shot in the face for sets in evening, compared to the filter and those ableton the Kaoss to see!
The Kaoss Pad is the perfect companion to the DJ, believe me, try it now!
Have you tried many other models before acqurir? The Mini Kaoss Pad, but I very quickly turned to his big brother much more effective.
