No less than one hundred pre-programmed effects gérablent midi, live or online.
The classic effects reverb, delay, chorus, EQ, flanger ...
It can be connected to the pc via midi connector or RCA audio output of koass.

It has 2 RCA inputs including one for the phono (turntable), 1 microphone jack Gros 6.35, 1 MIDI input and output with a 3 RCA to the overall sound and a big jack for headphones and one for MIDI.

For the price we'll have preferred a little better connections.

UTILIZATION

A small switch on the rear panel to switch the live according to the function directly.

A small two-page fact sheet summarizes the possibilities of the machine, for it is completely uninformed as it is indescribable in English.

SOUND QUALITY

I find that much of an effect are similar, or have no effect really usable, except it allows the effects to produce some drum sounds and other sounds sinusoidal, we can turn to his liking (with a little practice).

I love all the effects that can suppress frequencies, reverb, delay (of a battery is pretty cool), the flanger, the time stretch .... I love it so.

OVERALL OPINION

Buy 400 euros in 2004, it was my first multi-purpose, major faults that I find this toy are:

- The number of similar effects
- Function bpm which is not precise enough (2 bpm difference)
- The sampler (recording time too short)
- The difference in noise level between the effects
- That'll have some effects could be related just to produce and thus eliminate those that duplicate

What I like the KAOSS is its touch screen and céativité just by using it.

I do not know if I do it again the same choice given that prices are not commensurate with that performance and / or what I expected at the time.

I enjoyed myself anyway, is the most important.
