Denon DJ SC3900

Using the Denon DJ SC3900 was a decent experience for me and there are not too many negative things that I can say about it except for the price. I am not happy with the price tag by Denon. Most of all the equipment that they make is very well built but its just not as good as some of its competitors and I think they should take the price down a little bit to make it more appealing. The Denon DJ SC 3900 come with a music management software that can really help you out with getting your music in order for your set. They have implemented a “file share” network with the new Denon’s where you can now share your files between other users whether they are using the SC3900 or not, but if they don’t have the 3900 then they have to have a compatible model (which most of the new Denon DJ systems are compatible). This new feature isn’t a feature that will make you run out and buy the SC3900 but it is a pretty cool feature if you are around other DJ’s that use the newer Denon models. You can now play your stuff directly from the USB hub with the new “USB playback” options. Denon now has an iPad app that will allow you to use your iPad to control your stuff via wireless , which can come in handy because you will be able to do it on the iPad’s large touch screen and then you will not even have to touch the Denon DJ SC3900 at all. All you have to do is download the app from the Itunes App Store and it is very easy to set it up and start using it. I have tried many other models from Denon but the SC 3900 is my favorite one that they have recently come out with. It is a good investment with a lot of cool features.

I have used cdj 1000 cdj 850 cdj 2000 denon dns 3000 and 5000.

What I love her more clearly on the plate that really believe on mk2 set to the correct torque 1.5 kg.

The USB Link and works well.

The hybrid MIDI mode in traktor turns these readers gas plant.
(More reactive than the usb link to RJ45 connections)

The only small DEFAULT link mode the reader who has not the key source usb external hd or ream it a bit when we must move forward in the track with the search button.
The ideal and have a source for drive and use the link to see these sources on computer or ipad. More convenient for the selection of playlist.
(The link is the rj s 45 s therefore is normal I think competition makes rj 45 link also do not look any further.)

Engine comes with the program works correctly for simple playlist anyway.
The crates also fonctionne.La selection of folder on the drive if you just copy file directly on your usb key works as well.
If you want to use your itunes playlist directly from your own computer via engine in link mode you can do it will allow you to have in your playlist subcategories car engine does not allow it.
You can import your itunes playlist in engine also.

The link with the ipad I 've not yet been tested.

The value and correct relationship I have had the pair of occasion.

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

Plus: The vinyl Tea / worked with a screen

The icing on the cake:
the music management software "engine" - it's easy to say!
When transferring music, we lose track! "A magician for the same price"
Example: a play-list of 20 titles itune engine sent to more than 19 titles, the same with usb key mark all together
I did the same test with recordbox of pioneer - consistent

Management ranked playlist and crate (box) is not very practical:
If you decide to make boxes with a ranking bpm and others by artists this is not possible, such cases will all be classified with the same criterion
In playlist no problem but can not do a categorization as with ddj software denon, depending on the number of playlists smoke your risk roulette fashion!

The choice of denon for me is obvious
Only proposed a turntable with vinyl plate
Very satisfied with the 3700 base
I thought gained comfort with 3900 and those using the software much more flexible (year securities with a play-list to another) what motivated me to the base!

I am very disappointed
