Hey guys I'm Kevin, I recently decided to drop out of college, get a job and start pursuing a career in music.  I was just wondering what some good DJing programs there are that I can just download on the internet (free or not).  My main interest is in making beats, some of my favorite beats come from bands like MGMT, Kanye, Kid Cudi, Notorious BIG, Postal Service.  So any info on how I can make beats like those or what programs or hardware to do so would be well appreciated.  I know these are stupid questions but I was told I would be helped here.

Thanks guys!
Kevin

Hi, If I was you I'd check out Fruity Loops, download the demo version and see what you think. A good free program to create drum loops etc. is by Bram Bos its called Hammerhead.

Check these out

Or for DJing

Hope this helps.
