Mixed In Key announced DJ Tempo, their first app for iPhone OS, featuring a tempo-detection algorithm to enable fans to quickly find the tempo of music played around them. 





DJ Tempo utilizes the [aufTAKT] BPM detection algorithm by Zplane Development found in Mixed In Key's flagship application. This



algorithm analyzes music in real-time and determines the tempo based on the time signature and downbeat location.  







DJ Tempo packs this technology into a portable iPhone OS package for use in a live, real-time environment.  







Select the amount of time you'd like it to analyze the music – 5, 10, or 20 seconds – and touch the Analyze Tempo button. The tempo, 



in beats per minute, will appear on the screen. DJ Tempo is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch (2nd generation), and iPod touch



(3rd generation).
