Value For Money :
Poor
The documentation is in English and very complete.
UTILIZATION
Very good machine, easy to use, intuitive and well designed.
If I were to knit pick, the negatives for me would be:
- The noise of the fans that cool the hard drives. But hey it's not a gas plant either.
- The transfer rate of Ethernet is actually ridiculous ... and Fireport option is too expensive for my taste. There are alternative solution to mount the hard drive on a computer (see HD24 tools). But I have not yet ordered the drawer compatible to get into my tower.
SOUNDS
The converters seem quite right.
OVERALL OPINION
You should know that if the HD24 loses its electrical power short of recording, data will be on the disk but will be inaccessible because it did not have the time to write the TOC. You will find (among other) solutions for recovering data on this site:

Another solution: lug an onduleur ...
