We will not go back on it forever ... cardioid vocal mic with a big head
Relatively light, more than a Sennheiser or Shure (SM58 or E835), and the handling can be improved compared to the competitors mentioned above.
OVERALL OPINION
This micro tempted me for a while on paper it was very attractive, in reality I am currently a little more mixed.
The record is clear, less than 58 colorful, less "synthetic" than E835, at least those who say that its tone is closer to the 58 would do well to invest quickly in a stock of cotton buds .. . if I had to approach a competitor that would be the E935 Senn, but definitely not a Shure (at least not an MS).
The bass response is very clean, and absolutely no mud and put forward as a 58 and is less flattering than a male voice on the E835, You need a good preamp in the ass to add a little roundness.
The famous rejection of the Larsens is not monstrous, it is certainly much better than 58 (but at the same time it is not too hard), but not transcendent vis a vis a Sennheiser.
For the field against it captures, it captures almost too well, I had to put the pad of my preamp to avoid capturing the noise floor and other things that do not have a pass into the mic. This sensitivity is also the proximity effect is much harder to deal with a Sennheiser (a Shure must work to draw something).
In short, I rather like the sound from the microphone that fits with my voice (singing thrash / death metal, I have a low-pitched), but the taming of the microphone much less natural to me with my E835 who responded immediately to my expectations.
