I rented this microphone for a bassoon sonnoriser by attaching to the roof (cap, language bassoon). What a disappointment! Same recognition that other opinions. No serious and very weak signal. His only interest is its low weight. It's lighter

Added in February 2006 I stumbled upon this opinion that I left and suggesting that the E604 is the case in this case. Its only advantage over the E608 is the output level.
