Contrary to what is often said, it is not the same membrane as SH58
OVERALL OPINION
I bought A few months ago.
A sound engineer got me a 55 to a concert and I fell in love ...
I am a guitarist / singer, and I can not stand having to remain static ... What's great with the SH55 is that the membrane is larger than SM58, suddenly, it is not obliged to do all the time gaff to the position of his mouth over the microphone.
Also, compared to a 58, it has a greater grip area. So, we can easily vary the number with distance.
From the point of view sound, it has a pretty nice personality.
This is a nice sturdy machine. A good value for money.
The trouble is that there is price, there is no one bag!
