«  Nobody talks about, then I start ... »

Dynamic microphone proximity, cardioid. A switch. So basic. Micro entry-level Shure. It is a micro singing everything that is most con. I quote an anonymous, who has been compared to SM58 in terms of response:

At first glance, there is a difference between the Prologue and SM58,
The Prologue has a 7 db hump and down to 4500 hz
slowly after to keep 0/-2 db to 150,000 Hz,
SM58 on a bump of 5 db from 5000 to 6000 Hz followed by a trough at 0 db
to 7500 Hz and a second bump of 4 db at 9500 hz and down
frankly to -7 db to 15,000 hz.

OVERALL OPINION

I have since 2003. This is my first microphone, and my only so far.

Well, do not expect wonders, but it would have helped out well. Nothing like an SM59, which costs a hundred euros, twice what I paid for it.

A good micro relief, but not great on stage, let alone in the studio. It is always between the lack of response and saturation; it does its job, but we are far from the semi-pro gear. At least, it is robust and reliable. Today, I'll look elsewhere, either Shure (SM58 in a set is an almost inevitable) or not.
