Published on 09/04/12 at 05:31the problem with this unit is the latency makes it almost unusable "live" effects such as compressor or stereo processing generate significant latency that is added to achieve a total latency of about 100ms! (60ms) for the compressor alone. shame because the sound is very very good (I've mostly used as a sort of preamp gain knobs as pushed to the max here sounds great!) suddenly it's a shame it is used as a treatment off-line.
UTILIZATION
use was quite confusing two groups of effects, but some combinations are impossible, so all can not be switched on simultaneously. if the issue is minimized: only 1 setting indeed! ex: the compressor / expander is just a setting that threshold can also choose the type of effect.
SOUND QUALITY
excellent for the time, even now
OVERALL OPINION
product for the broadcast therefore almost useless for the studio or live, especially if we work on the analog to whomever added a double A / D conversion, D / A, just for that.
