What kind of microphone?
is a microwave instrument, available with several hooks to attach to the intrument, here the violin but also guitar, sax, trumpet ...
in the box, the microphone with his Bonnette and his swan glue, attach the hook to the violin, and an adapter microdot / XLR which also cut down.
fixation is well and does not damage the instrument. the microphone is supercardio. Only drawback, the cord between the microphone and microdot conection is fine (so do not be mad with!).
OVERALL OPINION
I have this microwave for 2 weeks.
The sound is nikel! absolutely the sound of the violin, and here, I repeat, nothing is missing in the sound. the microphone is quite closed, it catches it, and do not take too much either which has around. This mic is a little gem!
over 400euros, we can assume that it's expensive, but considering the result, no hesitation. I played before with a micro cell clamp + FWF (which worked well too, but his level, not pictured), I tested my beta98 too, and I had many opportunities to play before the KM184, and although nothing is better.
