- Static shotgun for taking votes shooting
OVERALL OPINION
I have this microwave for three months, I use it mostly shooting and it does its taf but if it is not a thunderbolt of war!
Before this, I worked a lot with the Sennheiser ME66 and frankly, Rode did not blush, I find it even sounds a little less metal and less sensitive to noise pole.
For cons, the big negative is the operation with a battery instead of phantom power, it's pretty devastating, it seems that there is a wha-wha pedal into the mic!
Another point to watch is the finish: the screws on mine is the unfortunate tendency to steer themselves, not terrible when the microphone is at the end of a pole 3m!
Meanwhile, for the price (I got it for under 200 €) I have not found anything better, I recommend it to small budgets who want a shotgun mic right!
