Originally two microphones type PB and active electronics. 4 buttons: volume, balance, bass and treble. Replaced with a Seymour Duncan neck pickup in SPB3 and Delano VOMP 4 pickup, volume and tone for each.
UTILIZATION
The handle is a log, wide and thick. I like but it may impair some. Head dips a little bit but nothing major.
The shape is more or less depending on whether you like it or hate it but not pass unnoticed. Personally I'm in love. Not excessively heavy it is to play over the entire height of the handle.
The sound originally was well ... active. I'm not a fan I think all bass sound the same. Injury to a violin of this quality. Since I changed the pickups is another world: precise, bold, percussive. All the notes sound, high or low, with an attack and a huge sustain.
SOUNDS
I play heavy rock and it was enough to see the head of the group the first time I brought it in rehearsal to understand that the Holy Grail was not far. I use a pedal fender sublime and MAC (Italian amp 70s) amp with 1x15 and 1x12's pregnant.
The sound is great, heavy and fat but never messy.
Otherwise I play that finger so I do not know what it can give the plectrum or slap.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 4 months and I do not want to EVER do without.
