Made in Indonesia ...
22 Frets, a simple microphone and a Mighty Mite humbucker, I know it's worth cque =)
Three knobs: one volume, one for the selection of microphones and a final two axes, which is actually a kind of BassBoost and / or aiguboost.
I love the color
I do not know what it's worth, but given the price, I think the pickups are not top top, similar to the bridge. I had the strings at the base are a calamity, but that's good for 25 € I bought more, it sounds better right away.
UTILIZATION
The handle is a bit flat, I would have preferred more roundness, in addition, access to acute hard (when I say that's Paske soloing I love going in the 20th box, otherwise the rest of the handle is quite nice), but his left hand so the game remains comfortable. It feels a bit slippery in the freight, which shows a finish made in a hurry, but good, the playability is still very little altered.
The big disadvantage of this bass is its weight, and poor distribution of it: when I put the bass on my knees, inevitably she leans forward. Surely the head, but I think it can be resolved in a luthier. I like the shape, glue it to the body. The sound is ok for a bass this price, it is good on a good amp and with other strings. The game is easy to finger the slap sounds good.
SOUNDS
I play funky rock and this bass suits me. It sounds quite round to jazz and is easily adjusted for more potato. Moreover, it is an active, and sends
At home, I have a 15W Laney HardCore (= shit is not even worth a try) so I can not say too much, but I play a nice 60W, and there, the sound is good.
J'utulise sometimes a distortion, it sounds too, but the clean sound is better. One downside: a tendency to crackle when the eq on my bass is pushed on the acute damage to the slap.
Good overall sound, rather Polyval.
OVERALL OPINION
My first bass, bought on the recommendation. I think for the price, it can hardly be better in sound. Ergonomics is not top, but hey you get used to (I still have a broken strap, after it's true that it was not quality =).
I use it for six months, I am not unhappy with my choice.
I recommend it to beginners who want the bass sound.
I have tried other basses in the shop, including a Yamaha around € 250 and I prefer this Cort. The model is also 5-string, but for starters, I chose 4. I do not have that choice would do today, I changed (chuis better: p) so I plan to buy a new low in the coming years, but I highly recommend to anyone starting out.
