* Manufacturing Indonsienne it seems to me (actually adpend the date of manufacture, it is either Indonsie Core by year)
* Basswood body
* (Big) bridge G & L (I do not know if the tribute is DIFFERENT from that of the U.S.)
* Handle saddle, round, thin, very enjoyable to play
* 21cases, rosewood fingerboard
* 1 neck pickup type precision bass "+ a simple microwave bridge, both of the microphones possdent G & L pads rglages height
* 2 of rglages knobs: 1 volume for each microphone (we would have liked a little tonality but eventually we forget quickly what dtail missing)

Low lgre more than her sister L-2000 (my back says thank you), it is balance. I just wish that the series tribute does not touch on the Saddle SB-2, and a little lack of a knob in shade but ultimately nothing good to say (go to section sound)
I colored red metallic, it is sublime, especially with his white Pearloid pickguard.

UTILIZATION

Low lgre more than her sister L-2000 (my back says thank you), it is balance.
the handle is very pleasing, treble are very accessible, the bass is enjoyable to play while standing.

Do you get a good sound easy? ...

Ben with two knobs that Sets the volume of each microphone, the sounds you can get are pretty small, unlike the L-2000 rglages quickly found that we need.

SOUNDS

Appropriate are your musical style?

What is a "style of music? I do not know that expression, but I know the music "musical style" has not said nothing to me =)

More srieusement I mostly play with fingers, a real rgale, the sound is round, but not be mushy fat or anything else, there was a lot more bass than the L-2000 , provided the notes are very well Dfine, treble are fine ...

in slap is a killer! I who did not like the slap, I'm pleasantly income this technique, a slap is crystalline.

British rock with a pick? hop we simply put the bridge pickup and sounds of hell.

There the grain G & L, nice growl but unobtrusive to not put a ton.

My prfr his finger at the game remains at the neck pickup with the neck pickup only activated a well rounded well Dfine.

Like I said earlier, missing a knob in shade but we made it fast when you see it can really vary the sound with only 2 volumes of micro.

I use a Russian Big Muff, a cry baby bass, moog bass MuRF one and a boss dd-5, makes it particularly well in the Russian Big Muff, on the other hand in bass wah cry baby you should put either or both pickups on the bridge pickup if the neck pickup has a sound too round to hear the effect.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 weeks before I had the L-2000 for 2 years.

I tried many models (Squier, Fender, Warwick, Cort, Ibanez, Yamaha), a report terms qualitprix G & L is a brand that fits very well, then a rest a matter of taste.
G & L for me it is clear from Fender amlior (the quality of the tributes is above the Fender Mexican)
Then everyone's tastes.
Personally, I fell in love with this brand of L-2000, but really c'tait MODEL I needed. I tried several fender precision bass from home, but the playability silent far from being that of the SB-2 Tribute.

I really advise all those who love the L-2000 to try the SB-2 for me because she is multimdia, and also those who do not like the L-2000 because that is when even low richer sound (deeper bass, treble less bland)

PS: I put the notes are of course on the price and range of the instrument! (But if I had more money I will take the SB-2 U.S. version)
