Low Made in Korea by Samick manufactures for other well known brands.
Controls: 4 buttons.
Volume, Treble, Bass, Balance handle pickups or bridge.
Active pickups with high output sound
Channel 24 Boxes
Body and neck through mahogany.
UTILIZATION
The neck is nice and easy access to treble by the neck through.
Body with a very particular form somewhat reminiscent of a violin is ideal for musicians seeking to differentiate themselves from what is usually done.
Solid construction and a beautiful transparent black finish, a relatively compact size.
The only downside is the weight but with a good wide strap is decreased range and most of the bass are also heavy.
The sound is excellent and suits me perfectly. Power and roundness.
SOUNDS
Thanks to the active pickups, it has access to a wide palette of sound.
That suits the style of music I play rock, reggae, metal.
I play a Peavey Max 115 amp but I tried my bass with a Markbass I plan to buy in a few months.
The sound is excellent and the active pickups express all their potential on this type of higher-end amp.
OVERALL OPINION
I bought this bass in February 2009, used to a colleague € 350. It was like new.
This is rather low € 600 new. One can hardly do better in terms of value for money.
I tried Fender Jazz Bass Mexican at 700 € and I much prefer the sound of my Greg Bennett TBB2.
Before I had a SR300 Ibanez active pickups, and when I compared the UK with TBB, I was immediately convinced by the sound quality, the output level microphones and potential adjustment.
It goes without saying that even if I have to change one day, I will keep this bass quite unusual, which I am sure will grow in value over time.
Greg Bennett, thank you!
