Warwick Standard (MODEL launched in 1995 as "entry level" of a prestigious brand), made in Germany (even the hardware!). 24 frets superb quality alloy is solid. Mics: 2 types strips Jazz Bass. Three pots: one volume gnral, slecteur a rotary with a balance point between the two pickups, a Tone gnrale. I bought this bass at the top by having to install a high-end pramp kind Sadowsky or Aguilar, to become more serious. Warwick Bridge design unique.
The handle: in a beautiful wood species (Ovangkol), trs sweet, the profile is quite pronounced in D maisil remains narrower than a Precision Bass neck. Excellent Access in treble. I put 9 because of the limitations of the sound palette of the two microphones J. Too bad there's no place to put a microphone between the two P!

UTILIZATION

Excellent sleeve as said above: the cl rglage ais thanks allen "T" provided. A breeze! (I must say that the wood works easily with the change in temprature and humidity, especially if you change your tune).
Ergonomics is exquisite, round shapes make it easy to carry. Weight, trsdcri is no worse than a Fender.
As for the sound: it is the PAF. Not tamper thirty years! However, I find the tone rather small correction, it's not really a low for the "veloutquot;. I try my hand well to the half-round string nets to offset rounded. I put a 9 for the remaining trs typ.

SOUNDS

I play the big rock 70 and I needed to completely replace my Epiphone Viola I loved also (with nets dishes).
I play my flat on a "small" Ashdown Five Fifteen-100w, not the amp but s'entraner of thunder was enough!
Sounds: crystalline, reminds me a ct "piano wire", with a sustain vertgineux as good on Rickenbacker 4001. It lends itself well to the attacks Martel careful though, his characters are not excessive when rvler attack too hard (knocking the attack, especially with ropes round threads).
I would say that one can hardly do without both mdiator prsence Defines and timbre are dynamic. Slappeuse good, although somewhat acute (the preamp circuit with a bypass would make this bass a gun).

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month.
What I like: coffee maker has the srieux manufacturing, the original forms, the "piano chords" massive!
What I like least: the lack of bass / mid pickups. A bit nasal.
I tried a Yamaha BB 5 string (not bad, but not quite classic personality), a Frank Bello Jazz Bass (not to sound too mtallique Tone), a standard Precision Mexico (that Well, no more), a Jazz Bass 70 '.
I hsit between JB and the 70 Corvette. Once the Corvette essay I forget the others.
Yet I am branch Aesthetics "vintage". Too bad there are not two volumes / two tone. I did not leave the shop with Warwick and now it is my home! :-D
It's the little dynamite this low!
I would do this choice, multiple low Corenne lass I had, I wanted an instrument of high quality for the home and studio RPTES. It shows the height. In addition, Warwick provides a certificate of quality with SERIES n, and a maintenance kit complte: Guide rglage, T cl for the rgler trussrod, wax sp cial Warwick (think many beginners to polish up form a film, then once a month depending on usage), a soft and comfortable TRS Rockbag excellent cover for the train and habitus the metro!
