This is one of the good low trs active, versatile and efficient.
Technical Specifications:

- CONTRL: low microphone gain, treble, balance the two microphones;
- Electronic active.
UTILIZATION
It's been a good ten years that I play the bass. I play rock, funk, jazz. So in gnral, I am looking plutt a sound that has the attack. This bass has a real bass sound active configuration "standard" balance 0, 0 amplification. This allows for a default trs his groovy, well suited to slap.
on the other hand, ds that we want to play records DIFFERENT, it helps to have a trs round and smooth thanks to the micro bass, treble and clear thanks to the micro agu. Being able to quantify the gain of each amplifier and microphones to be able to balance between the two really can adapt his sound.
The handle has a fairly flat profile, allowing a quick game. The body is well thought out as it allows an easy ACCS notes "the Cotavance" (beyond the 12 am one). You can really play arpges between the 12th and 24me box, which is not true of all low CHRE worth much more.
I looked for something better, and less to 2000, I have not yet found. The only default that I can make it are: the average quality of the painting of fittings, which after 5 years was stitched and the lack of the CONTRL linares volume.
Otherwise, I love it.
May be that Yamaha to correct the defects with the new MODEL.
It is sold an acceptable price trs. 3500 Franks bought 5 years ago.
I suggest seeking a bass player's bass deuxime: APRS instrument of study low-end, he will find the instrument a versatile and good quality.
