Interesting feature found on bcp guitars of this type (2 HH). The 3 position selector suits me well (set metal type). Some prefer a 5-position ...

Through-string: Pretty good for a 7-string entry to sustain.

UTILIZATION

The handle is quite large, it's a 7 string, but I find it rather pleasant Malagasy everything, especially that I did not hand imposing.

Access to acute is correct, though I go pretty soon.

I do not feel that this guitar is very heavy ... I am a good bass player at the base so I used to have weight on the shoulders, but his weight does not seem to be a handicap for a 7-string. Balance of the guitar. Taking no hand is good.

SOUNDS

For sound, two HH config allows for very powerful sounds typical metal, what I wanted. I could try it on a small peavey rendering is not great, but on this mesa is already doing more!
But then it depends on what you want. For the price, the microphones are correct ... if you want a good guitar, a change of micro can do the trick. Especially the 7 strings Left do not run the streets. With microphones OCCAZ (or new) if we can do it, it cost between 100 and 150 euros. In a luthier about 200 euros. I wanted to do, but I prefer to focus on bass.

So if you want a small 7-string for micro enough itches. For a guitar that sends best ben mics needed a change.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 7 months.

What I like is being able to play on a 7-string left not too expensive. I bought it in order to compose guitar parts on compounds (guitar pro discount then).

For comparison, in 7-string I did not. Compared to other models in the same price range (6-string, in Yam, Cort, Ibanez ,...) I think she seems stronger, better finished, a cranc above. Good for mics, I'm not a pro, but in this level range is often the same, there are rarely any kind of quality microphones Duncan or Dimarzio.

The price / quality ratio is really good for the price of sale to US, or 350-400 euros in Europe ... 7cordes + Left>>> it raises the price easily, so it's a good value for money. The prob is that it is not distrib Fr not even in stores VPC so important obligation. The price increases to 450-500 euros, which is correct for a left-handed but fatally 7cordes qd is even less attractive: /

For a 7-string not too expensive, I do it again the same, simply because it is the only available. Well it must be said that the look of the Schecter is not displease me. So yes my choice Repport on this model (or model-C1 EX Baritone, but this is almost 800 euros).

If one day available for 400 euros in Fr, where it will be a very good price / quality ratio.
