Excellent
The Jazzmaster Elvis Costello Signature American Artist. It has the distinctive profile handle early '70s, and a very vintage walnut stain finish. This is obviously a U.S., as its name indicates.

Yes if we know the Jazzmaster and adjust and we know the dealer with. Otherwise, you just do it by a specialist in rgler or get started. But arrives without problem.
The sound is better than the AVRI 62 '?
For me, it's really very very close but a bit warmer and SINP. I rgl my pickups the same height, the action idem, the same set of strings, same amp without effects and amp rglages same of course.
Rock, Blues, Noise, Jazz, even carefree nomtal for who knows how to make the best of it.
Clear sound sublime directly into a Fender amp or other lamp.
I test in a Fender Pro Junior, a Vibrolux and a Twin ... Sublime. A Laney idem, an Engl, but something else is also superb.
Effects: Overdrive Jacques overtube / Turbo Rat / Big Muff / Fuzz Factory / EHX Pulsar / Boss PS-5 / MXR Blue Box / MXR Phase 90 / Line 6 Echo Park + Fender reverb or line 6 Verbzilla. Finally, a Ring Modulator Moog MF 102.
In disto as clear: its fabulous. Drawing board: from 10/52. Me and I prefer a minimum 11/52 12/52 ample home of Jazz Addario Light EJ 21. My two are mounted in JM 12/52. T he kills!
In rsum the sound is clear and warm without drooling neck pickup though rgl (lowered to the proper level), sublime shuffled the two microphones with specifiers that end we love the JM . Its very sharp and offensive ct bridge pickup, with a good ideal type Turbo Rat distortion or a Big Muff Pi Fuzz type with a Big Muff Sovtek, adchire serious too.
The sound of surf race, but especially for me as well as superb sound of Bill Frisell or Tom Verlaine ... For me the ultimate level REFERENCES his Jazzmaster plain and crunch with Nels Cline and his sonic palette totally unlimited. you can go up a sound noise rock Sonic Youth of course. Register in which she excels.
I play on Jazzmaster and Jaguar since the 80's and reissues on since the late 90's. I have since Costello qques days only but it is at its correct AVRI rplique the hand handle 62 and a vibrato so more noticeable when the pushes and less sensitive when pulled on the other hand. Just rgler but otherwise if you want to change that. The rod has a vibrato steeper than usual Jazzmaster and that's what makes the action more sensitive vibrato.
I do not compare with the Classic Player or the ICJ (unmodified) is something else.
I love the Jazzmaster is my n1 guitar for over twenty years and it is superb CarRent. Finish with a bit multimdia AVRI 62 '.
Report qualitprix: good but it is a budget, of course. View DDiS forums of this site to change a CIJ or MIJ otherwise seems to do well.
But the handle 70's convinced me. For me the surprise of the Costello and more and finish more than vibrato modified

I therefore recommend that Costello wants a Jazz type AVRI but a little DIFFERENT level ergonomics and finish while keeping the same type of sound ... better.
Brief Plutt a Jazzmaster for the fun look at retaining a traditional sound "vintage." I'd rather as a classic sound to me as Jazzmaster be fairer and less in the commercial catches.
