«  Big sound if you change the samples of tom! »

Published on 01/07/12 at 08:14
It's been, for years I have. 20 years, perhaps ... In parallel with SDSV, SDS6, TR909 and 808, Drumtrack, CR78, DMX, analogue sequencers MOOG, and BADEZ DOEPFER, MIDI, etc ...
Big sound, and works directly with a lot of pads. if not by noon. I have long served with 6 SDS and then with a TR909 and my MIDI sequence. Vintage sound for sure, and ability to change the samples by reprogramming the memory with a Prommer or something like that. It is found in not too bad for a hundred euros, and if you have a console worthy of the name of its separate outputs you will not be disappointed! Very handy with pads, but can also activate a speaker at two euros stuck in a pot! Perfect to give potato and a bit of realism to a kit "garbage". The sound of the toms is nothing unbearable if we give ourselves time to adjust a little. Some comp + eq + reverb is not a luxury, but allows for a "sound itself" very easily. Or you change the samples, not necessarily for toms, for that matter!
