I suppose this is a very basic question. When I chain the Midi out of Electric Keyboard 1 to the Midi in of Electric Keyboard 2, Electric Keyboard 1 acts as a controller keyboard and accesses the various patches of Electric Keyboard 2, all well and good.
However when I substitute Electric Keyboard 1 for my EWi-5000 and connect its Midi out the the Keyboard Midi in, and try use it as a controller to access the sounds of Keyboard 2, I am not getting any output sound. Would anyone happen to know why?
