The PG-300 is a MIDI controller for the Juno α 1 and 2, the expander MKS-50, HS10 (Juno clone 1) and HS80 (Juno 2 with speakers).

Features:
Top surface: 36 buttons and faders controlling sound settings - Manual button
Rear-facing: MIDI in, out and through - DC 9V 200mA - switch
-Size: L267xP238xH55mm
-Weight: 1.7 kg without transformer

Usage is very simple: when you move a controller on the PG-300, the sound is changed in real time on the Juno. When you press the Manual button, the sound is determined by the position controllers PG. MIDI OUT "merge" information from the MIDI IN and PG-300: If Juno is driven by a sequencer, you must first connect it to PG-300.

I will not say that the PG-300 is essential - after all Juno did that 36 of its parameters, and it has controls "global" (Tone Modify) brightness, modulation and envelope - but it was very useful to the beginner that I was to understand the synthesis, and I continue to use it to tweak the sounds from my Juno 2 and my MKS-50.

My PG-300 was offered with the Juno that I bought in 1987. It seems to me that it was time to 2000 francs (300 euros). His current rating of 225 euros seems to me excessive and senseless (a device which alone is useless is more expensive than the devices it controls and did not need to run), especially since the PG-300 can be replaced by a control surface, or a publisher.
