Value For Money : Correct
How long have you use it?

10 years

Have you tried many other models before buying it?

Say I used midi controllers.

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

When one knows the D50 which is a real monster synthesis, pg1000 becomes almost indispensable if we tried it would just once. It allows you to target the parameter we want to achieve without scrolling endless menus immediately. It is therefore very clear view and well designed.
on the other hand, if you think that with pg1000, the D50 will be more intuitive and easier to program, you will be able to move the pots at random as you would on an analog minimoog type in whatever happens with the result interesting ... well no. Even with pg1000, the D50 is a great but complex to program synth. In addition, for movements "live", the reactivity is not the same, it takes time for the sysex message is interpreted (but significant enough to be felt time).

How would you rate the quality / price?

Correct, though some might say. This is a rare unique, even historic, which takes full advantage of the legendary D50. And while it's possible to fit midi controllers, it will not delve too deeply into the minds of those who conceived this synth. I know it may seem superfluous, but I feel like it when I use a machine.

With experience, you do again this choice?
There are a dozen years, I have paid 75 euro. So yes, if there are still sellers at this price, I do it again this choice with all of them :) More seriously, even his current side, if it fell in the road, I think that I ' in a ransom.
