- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
Sound quality 24bits/192kHz Converters.
The box that plugs into a FireWire port.
The two main entrances XLR or Jack, 2 inputs and 2 Jack in the CAR.
And 4 outings and 2 RCA Jack.
This allows you to mix 3 track Stros or have multiple uses diffrent rated output.

The home studio pro.

Recording: Tascam DAT for mastering, the rest a Sony MD deck or if the old burned CD.

If I use Reason and Cubase SX at the same time it happens that the two program does not recognize the card half the time, reboutage mandatory.

I spent two days in two computer music stores trying cards, Motu, M-Audio, Edirol ...
Seen anything comparable quality level price, motu ultralite The 200 is great but more for a mini in size too manip finally, despite what some purists, its not a suprieur trs.

Apart from the fact that this little wonder was exactly CHARACTERISTICS I needed a sound of that quality for 300 is the Hallu.
Is always better, prcis, dynamic ect, but that price is the top trim level.

I read things that surprised me relative to this machine.
I've heard of breath ... breath? all analog consoles blow over this card, if you use a DM2000 with headphones OK Sheinneizer the limit you will hear a lightweight breath, but then pushing svrement the knobs.
I heard about pramps, what are you waiting for a pramp? a voice that makes you hot? a duly saturation on your guitar? this is not the rle of a preamp sound card friends, it must be dynamic and neutral prcis, which is totally the case of the FA-66.
For voice and guitar preamps buy lamps or even transistors has made to you will see it is DIFFERENT!
Then recess is not the best sound card market recess the ultralite is better, recess missing out, but when it comes to 300 even!
