« Compact, solid, but not on MAC efficasse »
Published on 08/21/14 at 07:33Sound card quality compact. M-Audio is such evidence.
8 outputs, 6 inputs including 2 perfect for me to record directly to my digital MPC1000.
I use it in the studio and live with Ableton, a Mackie table. My whole studio is connected to it via the table and a patch bay and I have only to route my tracks.
UTILIZATION
Ableton with no latency. I use it to its capacity of 100/100.
GETTING STARTED
The big negative on Mac: the owner's connection. It takes a special firewire cable: Telkonet. And the plug is not as deep as USB suddenly it can disconnect full set. Bourinne method: Scotch. I had a system to hold and lock the cable.
OVERALL OPINION
I had a 2x2 presonus before and I changed to the m-audio. I think keep it to live on a big move but Motu for the studio.
It is outdated now but I keep it. Preferred USB or Thunderbolt for a purchase.
