Very good quality preamp Rate!
Very good level of output and dynamic
Has nothing to envy to RME;
This card gives more than it costs.
Clearly behind Yamaha and Steinberg finance.
Zero latency = more effect tubing. very appreciable.
The DSP reverb is good but I have other Waves and UAD effects that make the X enough.
I compressors and equalizers next.
UTILIZATION
Super stable drivers
Firewire provides a good level of output
I recommend a Firewire PCI card with Texas Instruments chipset (found on ebay for qq euros) to ensure stability in any ordeal

Installation carefree in 5 minutes
bypass with Cubase 5,6,7 very pleasant.
one approaches the harware is the harware.
OVERALL OPINION
Previous maps: Echo, Tascam, RME.
I remake that choice just for the sound quality: dynamic, highly detailed, with a warm vintage side.
