LO95
« simple and effective »
Published on 10/15/12 at 13:48Noise reduction as simple as possible.
A knob to adjust the threshold, switch on / bypass.
UTILIZATION
I put it in the loop just before the reverb delay.
SOUND QUALITY
Compared to the boss (this is the only two that I know of):
I read the different ways to connect the boss (see the forum). I tried both in the loop and in front (with an A / B box, one after the other and true-bypass.)
Result:
I have not seen any differences between the isp and its bypass by against the boss so the sound is muffled. The isp is highly transparent. The effect itself is the same for both, it cuts net below a certain threshold.
OVERALL OPINION
I put 8 everywhere, but take it for what it's worth.
I use the effect continuously and I do not go absolutely clear even in his account. But if I disable it in distortion snores a lot. It fulfills its role perfectly. (Is not given either)
One small negative comment, I fed with a separate power supply because there was a problem of mass chaining. I do not know if it is recurrent, but hey, it's no big deal.
