Published on 03/13/12 at 11:37I use these speakers for a little over a year, with bose amp 1800 series VI, the Panaray Digital Controller II and recently a box 502b (excellent, very good down low).
I had wharfedale EVPX15p (not the same price range, but less good qualitée sound very good value for Q / P)
do not rely on the figures announced on the characteristics, the results are really very different, but they need a good quality amp as MC2, QSC upscale (by the way MC2 Audio manufactures most of bose amp) and above PANARAY processor that is essential.
if you have listened with a low-end amplifier, the result will seem disappointing without the processor
it's not even bother ...
Briefly, the strengths: lightweight, easily transportable with the protective cover which possess a handle (I wear both at the same time without worry), cash out the watts, thanks to the wide dissemination 8 speakers, the sound is really very good distributed in the room, good sound quality (at this price it's normal ^ ^)
Low point: the price, good bass presence in a room of average size, but in a large room or outside, bass are forgotten and the box is mandatory
I do it again without hesitation that choice, I'll take a QSC PLX 3102 amp to power the 802 and use 1800 to push my bose sub 502b.
